The Escort Bible for the cathedral town of Bury St Edmunds
An archeological dig in 2010 uncovered Bury St Edmunds Bronze Age origins. In addition they found Roman artefacts. The town was a royal borough on the Saxons and bought its name on account of it being the burial area of King Edmund The Martyr, who was killed because of the Danes in 869. Apparently numerous miracles ended up performed at the martyr
